I find interest in molecular and biochemical mechanisms and understanding how they affect diseases. Working at VUIIS gives me the ability to expand my knowledge, while also allowing me to make a difference in the scientific and medical community.

My current work includes identifying novel amyloid beta binding molecules for the treatment of Alzheimers disease, using a transgenic mouse model of AD. Currently 'testing the drugs' ability to amyloid beta and improve cognitive function among the transgenic mice.
