I am a member of the BEAM lab, under the direction of Dr. Brett Byram. My research involves developing novel beamforming and image processing techniques for ultrasound. The goal of my work is to improve real-time visualization of blood flow, which can aid physicians\' decision making during clinical procedures, such as embolization.
I am currently involved in research pertaining to blood flow visualization using ultrasound. Using signal coherence and eigenvalue metrics, we can preserve the blood signal, while suppressing clutter, such as reverberation or noise.
