I study gene expression signatures associated with poor prognosis in colon cancer and basic mechanisms leading to epithelial to mesenchymal transition in colon cancer cells.

Project 3:† define and determine the mechanism by which central mediators of gene expression patterns seen in colon cancer regulate metastatic behavior† Project 4:† develop a prognostic test for stage II and stage III colon cancer based on gene expression profiling
